‘Trouble No More’ showcases the music Dylan wrote and performed during one of the most surprising, controversial and inspired periods of his career.

As the decades turned and the eighties came round, Dylan was entering his so-called evangelical period following his conversion to Christianity. The occasion was marked with a trilogy of albums; ‘Slow Train Coming’ (1979), ‘Saved’ (1980) and ‘Shot of Love’ (1981).

‘The Bootleg Series Vol.13’ draws from this turbulent, fertile period with a collection of rare and unreleased studio recordings, live tracks and demos, with the deluxe edition comprising a total of eight CDs.

In total the collection debuts 14 previously unreleased songs and a multitude of unreleased live performances, rare studio outtakes and more.

The deluxe edition also includes ‘Trouble No More: A Musical Film’ an exclusive new feature-length documentary DVD and a hardcover book featuring an introduction by Dylan scholar Ben Rollins with liner notes by Amanda Petrusich, Rob Bowman and Penn Jillette.

The collection will also be available in 2CD and 4LPs formats, featuring the first two discs from the deluxe box.
