Taken from Iggy Pop’s 1979 album ‘New Values’ , this marks Iggy’s last collaboration with former Stooges guitarist James Williamson until their 2009 reunion.
The video is an interesting curio from the time.
Naturally it finds Iggy going topless in less time than it takes to boil a kettle, and his miming abilities leave a LOT to be desired.
But, as a late seventies snapshot it’s a fine time capsule, and with its constant 4th wall breaking, you can see it paving the way for what was to follow.
