Last week it was Ronnie, Estelle and Nedra (The Ronettes) giving us all the feels with their sublime isolated vocal on Baby I Love You, this week its Bonnie’s turn.
According to the wiki listing, Total Eclipse Of The Heart has sold over 9 million copies – which is about the same amount of times Legacy feels like we’ve heard this track (no complaints there though). But as is so often the case with tracks you feel like you’ve heard 9 million times, it‘s very easy to forget just how exceptional they are. We didn’t need another reason to love this track any more than we already do, but Bonnie’s vocal on this is insane. We may have even shed a small tear!
