Written and produced by esteemed US singer-songwriter Richard Marx, this soaring ballad became *NSYNC’s fifth top-ten in the US. The video was shot in San Francisco and features the area’s renown Redwood forest. It’s been viewed over 300 million times to date!
It’s Gonna Be Me
A massive pop anthem penned by legendary Swedish producers including Max Martin, it gave *NSYNC their first and only US number 1. The song had a surprise resurgence in viral meme form in 2012 when fans adapted the lyrics to “It’s Gonna Be May” as a prelude to spring.
Space Cowboy
On No Strings Attached, *NSYNC wanted to distinguish themselves from other boy bands of the time by drawing on different styles of pop and RnB. Space Cowboy (Yippie-Yi-Yay) combined elements of dance-pop and hip-hop, with a guest verse from TLC’s Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes.
