If you came of age during Grunge then Cameron Crowe’s ‘Singles’ was your ‘8 Mile’, your ‘Almost Famous’ maybe even your ‘Quadrophenia’.
Charting the rocky love lives of a group of unmarried twentysomethings in ’90s Seattle, the movie is musically rooted in its time and place, with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament appearing as Matt Dillon’s band ‘Citizen Dick’.
The soundtrack featured Alice in Chains, Screaming Trees, Mudhoney and plenty of other future grunge superstars. It went top ten and double platinum, crystallising the idea of the ‘Seattle Scene’.
Now we’re proud to present the 25th Anniversary Edition of this landmark soundtrack, featuring the original 13 tracks and exclusive liner notes by Crowe.
There’s also a second disc featuring a whole host of rarities including Citizen Dick’s signature tune ‘Touch Me, I’m Dick’, and previously unreleased recordings by Alice In Chains, Mike MCCready, Mudhoney and more.
