’40 Trips Around The Sun’ will feature three previously unreleased recordings alongside remastered versions of 14 of the band’s timeless classics, drawn from an incredible career that’s generated 200 Grammy nominations, 400 million Spotify streams and well over half a billion YouTube plays.

The new tracks are ‘Alone’, ‘Struck By Lightning’ and ‘Spanish Sea’.

‘Spanish Sea’ was a incomplete track from the ‘Isolation’ sessions recently unearthed from the Sony vaults and re-written by the band. This process that saw them not only collaborating with their younger selves but also the dearly-departed Jeff and Mike Porcaro.

Steve Lukather describes the new sessions: “Bittersweet. Many stories, laughs and a few tears.”

’40 Trips Around The Sun’ will be released on February 9 to coincide with the band’s most extensive world tour in years, with 36 shows so far announced in Europe alone. See www.totoofficial.com for a full list of dates.
