Originally appearing on the soundtrack for the 1984 film, ‘Footloose’, and then on Bonnie Tyler’s 1986 album, ‘Secret Dreams And Forbidden Fire’, the video to this classic ’80s single nonetheless makes absolutely no reference to Kevin Bacon…
Instead, the video moves to the Wild West where black-clad villainous cowboys brandishing neon whips menace Bonnie before being chased away by the eponymous hero.
A No. 2 UK hit single, the song has become a latter day anthem for the LGBT community.
