– Some of the lyrics for “Motorcycle Emptiness” were taken from the poem ‘Neon Loneliness’ by guitarist and lyricist Nicky Wire’s brother Patrick Jones who is a poet.
– It was the fifth single to be released from their debut album, ‘Generation Terrorists’ and was probably the most successful.
– The “Motorcycle Emptiness” music video was filmed during a promotional visit to Japan.
