With the visual effects helmed by American filmmaker and media Jim Blashfield, this riot of colour and daring concepts received five nominations in the shape of ‘Video of the Year, ‘Most Experimental Video’, ‘Best Special Effects In A Video’, ‘Best Art Direction In A Video’ and ‘Viewer’s Choice’ at the 1987 MTV Video Music awards.
