So while this single’s flipside – that’ll be ‘Last Christmas’ – gets the most plaudits, it’s worth remembering that ‘Everything She Wants’ is every bit as good.
They were, after all, released as a double A-side.
It was also one of George Michael’s favourite Wham! songs and one that he continued to play well into his solo career.
This exuberant black and white video finds George and Wham! partner Andrew Ridgeley superimposed over live footage of the group.
It was directed by Andy Morahan who would work with Wham! on the videos for ‘The Edge Of Heaven’ and ‘Where Did Your Heart Go?’.
