VIDEO OF THE WEEK: Boston – ‘More Than A Feeling’

Many are the artists and records that claim to have altered the course of popular music but Boston are one of the very few bands to make good on that claim.
The brainchild of producer and musician Tom Scholz, Boston’s eponymous debut album – and, more specifically, the trans-Atlantic smash-hit, ‘More Than A Feeling’ – significantly changed the game.
This was the moment when the blues-based proto-metal of 70s rock buffed itself to a glistening sheen with a sound that was aimed at the airwaves. Though many bands followed in their wake, none of them led the way in the manner that Boston did.
Little wonder, then, that ‘More Than A Feeling’ is still being played wherever there’s a radio.
