One of the most idiosyncratic and creative bands to have emerged over the last 25 years or so.
Welsh wonders Super Furry Animals have effortlessly drawn from influences as wide ranging as rock’n’roll, techno, psychedelia, folk, country and pretty much anything else they could get their hands on and seamlessly blended them into a unique whole.
Their attention to their visual presentation has always been given as important as their music and that’s in full evidence in this still incredible video.
Taken from their sixth album, 2003’s ‘Phantom Power’, ‘Golden Retriever reached No. 13 in the UK charts and remains much loved in their amazing back catalogue.
