One of the most groundbreaking double albums and arena tours of all time, Jeff Wayne’s musical Version of The War of The Worlds is returning to London in 2018.
Nearly 40 years on from the release of the original double album (still one of the biggest selling albums of all time) the live production will once again feature a 3 ton, 45 foot Martian Flying Machine firing heat rays at the audience.
The show also boasts a 100 foot wide animation wall and a holographic Liam Neeson, reprising his role as The Journalist.
To mark the occasion, Sony Legacy are proudly reissuing the 1987 double 12″, stunningly remastered for a superior sounding audio experience.
Released on January 26, 2018, the package also includes the original double gatefold with 16-page booklet containing the full script, lyrics, original paintings and credits.
